Ride and Stride is designed with your privacy in mind. Your activity data belongs to you and stays on your device.
All activity data you record — routes, distances, times, and personal records — is stored locally on your device only. Your data is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties.
Ride and Stride stores only the data you generate through your activities:
Ride and Stride requires location access to map your route and calculate distance. Location data is used only during an active session and is stored on your device as part of your activity history. Location is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Weather conditions are fetched using Apple WeatherKit at the start of each activity. This request is made directly to Apple's servers using your device's location. We do not receive or store any data from this request — the weather information is saved only on your device.
The app uses your device's barometric altimeter to improve elevation accuracy during activities. This sensor data is processed on-device only and is never transmitted.
We do not collect any analytics, crash reports, usage data, or tracking information of any kind. We have no visibility into how you use the app.
This app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. All data stays on your device.
